Roland ASD develops advanced solutions for the sign making, engraving, jewelry design and CAD/CAM industries. It serves customers throughout North and South America with cutting-edge technologies and skilled dealers.
As a division of Roland DGA Corporation, Roland ASD has a rich tradition of developing advanced technologies. Its roots go all the way back to the dawn of digital music. Roland Corporation, a worldwide manufacturer of electronic musical instruments, developed precision X-Y technology to record sound waves for its legendary music synthesizers.
Roland DG Corporation was formed in 1981 to find new applications for this advanced technology. It offered revolutionary products like the pen plotter and quickly earned widespread acceptance in the Americas during the CAD/CAM revolution. By 1990, the company established Roland DGA Corporation in California to provide sales, marketing and customer support services throughout North and South America. Within a few short years, Roland DGA began introducing a wide variety of groundbreaking solutions.
Today, Roland ASD products use advanced motion-control technology to offer vinyl cutters, 3D scanners, 3D milling devices and engravers with superior quality and precision. The new division bundles each product with software and accessories, then supports them through a highly-experienced dealer network. With years of real-world experience using Roland ASD technologies, each dealer is well-prepared to help customers meet their unique challenges.
